A Nudge

For many months now, I've had this lingering urge to blog.  As time has gone on, the urge has felt more like a nudge...and now a push.  I have asked myself time and time again...what am I going to blog about?  What do I have to say that would be "blog worthy."  Then, tonight as I was cleaning up dinner, I remembered that I started this blog.  As I logged on, I see that I posted once, just once.  It was nearly two years ago.  I feel like this is where I am supposed to be.  So, now to figure out what I have to say.....

What keeps the world spinning...

Every day, mom's across the world get up, feed and clothe their children and forge forward into their day.  By the end of the day, one million and one things have been accomplished...some days it looks like it, some days it looks they ten steps were taken backwards.  What gets us through those million and one things is our secret mommy powers.  You know, those powers that we started to acquire the moment that first baby was placed into our arms.  The ones that only work for the people that live inside your house...the ones that help keep you sane.  I don't pretend to have it all together and most of the time I feel like I do a marginal job at best.  But, I'm still married to the man of my dreams, I continue to raise four funny,  energetic, intelligent, charming, loud, beautiful, caring children, I help run a business, I mentor people in how to help them help themselves to make a better life and most importantly, I continue everyday to lean on my Lord and Savior for His will and direction in my life.  So, I must be doing something right.  :)
